1.发明的放弃(abandonment of invention)
To relinquish rights in an invention. An invention is considered to be abandoned, if within a reasonable time after the invention is completed, no actions are taken to make the invention publicly known.

虽然写过美国专利申请案，但对美国专利申请的流程还不是很清楚，在网上搜索了一下，找到如下资料：
1.美国专利申请流程（见右图），一般在决定申请专利后，首先向USPTO提出临时专利申请（provisional patent application），之后将invention disclosure发送给代理所以在其基础上进行专利申请文件准备，这一般需要数周到数月不等，在专利申请文件经各方认可后，代理所向USPTO正式提出申请；在之后的6个月内，一份IDS要提交到USPTO，该IDS包括所有已知的show和描述clamied的发明的特征的材料；自申请日起9-24个月USPTO会发出一份第一Offic Action给代理所，在发出OA的3个月内，针对审查员的objection提出一份response；在提交response之后的3-6个月，审查员会发出一份第二且最后OA；如果审查员认为response没有问题，则会发出一份notice of allowance，此时，一份正式的drawing及issue fee要提交到USPTO，自issue fee缴纳后的2-6月后该专利申请被issue。大致需要2-4年该专利申请会变成公告的专利，也可能更长。

google refused me
today I received an email from google, the email said that my appication for adsense was rejected. the reason for that is my site at blogcn.com is not 100% ok, like not having enough posts and having some void links.
